Finally! got in a real, long hike this Summer. Mount Olympus is about 7 miles round trip, and it took about 6 hrs. Sure am feeling the burn in my quads today. But it was an awesome hike and the views from the top were spectacular! If you ever decide to hike it, make sure you get an early start. Hiking the whole way in the sun would have been killer. But our 7am start time was perfect.
Wow, I'm impressed! I live right next to Mount Olympus but I've never done the hike. I'm sure the views would be worth it...but now I can just look at your pictures! Haha, maybe someday. :)
